Come and See Farm is a non-profit, sustainable farm and garden where children, families and people of all abilities may come and learn home-based agricultural activities. We are located on eight acres in the southwest corner of Michigan, an area that tops the state in agricultural production. We believe that children need an opportunity to learn and explore traditional farm and garden practices.
Each Saturday we offer a seasonally appropriate program. We have chickens, goats and garden crops. Next year we will have honeybees. The land is being developed using permaculture practices. Permaculture practice develops land quality slowly, over time. Its premise is to care for the earth, care for people and to share the excess fairly. All programs focus on skills people of all ages may use at home. We serve families with children who receive Special Education in the public school and strive to be a place accessible to all.
