Join us on Saturday, May 2 from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM for a day of full-circle fiber — from shearing our two Finnsheep, Dandelion and Ginger, to carding, combing, and spinning their wool, to sharing fiber crafts with one another.
Our day will include:
Shearing two sheep and skirting their wool
Learning to comb, card, and spin wool with teaching support from Morgan Doherty, a friend of the farm
A break for lunch (feel free to bring a dish to share!)
A chance to share in-progress fiber projects with one another
Our priority is to offer events that are financially accessible to everyone. If you have the means, we welcome sliding-scale donations between $5 and $30 per attendee to support this event, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Donations support this event and our ability to continue offering events like this in the future. We invite you to use these guidelines to select the price point at which you are able to give.
